Stopped in All About Cabinets & Countertops showroom several weeks ago to discuss installation of new kitchen counters in rental property. Spoke with Mike. I described what I wanted and Mike showed me several options. He asked that I email measurements to him so that he could generate an estimate. I sent measurements and pictures but heard nothing. Sent another email 10 days later to Mike; no response. Two weeks later I sent an email to the general inquiry email address (from their website). As of today, one month after visiting the showroom, I’ve heard NOTHING. Customer service is poor to say the least. Bob S.
All About Cabinets and Countertops - Anything but a love story
"All About Cabinets and Countertops" in Wheat Ridge, Colorado SUCKS!! Earlier this year, I got quotes from several businesses to get a new countertop for me bathroom. "All About Cabinets and Countertops" seemed to have the best quote for a new laminate countertop. However, it took a week longer than they said it would take for my order to be ready. Nick, the salesman I dealt with, would often say that he'd call me to give me an update or follow up on something and most of the time, he wouldn't call. I ended up having to call him to get any information on my order. Since they don't make laminate counter-tops themselves, they "outsourced" the job to another company. I was told that somebody from this other company would call me to set up an appointment to come out and make a template for the new counter-top so that it would fit in the space and also fit the measurements of my new sink. After a few days of waiting, I finally had to call them to make the appointment. After about a week, I got a call that the counter-top was ready, but it turned out that they put the counter-top and back-splash together wrong, which delayed my order by another week while they made a new counter-top. When my brother was in the middle of installing the side-splashes, he discovered that this company had made the side-splashes too long so that they hung over the edge of the counter-top. What was the point in coming out and making a template if they still made things the wrong size? I recently found out that my friend used this company to redo her kitchen last year. Her experience was similar. The project took much longer than Nick, a salesman at "All About Cabinets and Countertops",had projected and he never called when he said he would. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I was planning to put in new countertops in my kitchen, but now, I'll be finding a better, more reliable company to do that for me.
